Originally
designed as a practical tool [in 1996] to help the NHS with ‘Healthy workplace activity’, this tool is equally as
helpful for any other organisation. It was designed around the ‘Twelve
point plan for Health at Work in the NHS’ , and highlights the twelve
key areas to be targeted. Each key area is supported by a series of
targets, and is backed up by useful reference documents and sample
policies. The document also contains a suggested framework for health at
work, and membership of a steering group. It also has a list of possible
outcome measures that could be used.
This
document could be used as a set of ideas to promote discussion prior to
producing an action plan, and / or as a tool to record data and
progress.
The
tool is presented in a ring binder.
Cost
£25 (plus £6 post and packaging).
