This unique self-assessment tool is
designed to help general practice develop as a ‘Healthy Workplace’.
It contains all the essential elements needed in a simple, easy to use
audit format, with coloured sections, and action planning pages.
The tool is presented in a ring binder, with five
sections :
- Lifestyle
- Environment
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Staff Health
- Management and Personnel
The tool has been developed by general practice,
health promotion, and occupational health in Southampton and South West
Hampshire Health Authority area. It has been piloted, evaluated and
refined.
This tool could also be used to help small and medium
sized businesses develop their workplace activities. It could also be
used by small and medium sized business to assist with healthy workplace
activity.
Cost £50 (plus £6 post and
packaging).
